About this Mission Trip


Yosemite, California


Ongoing. Groups volunteer typically for 2 weeks or less.

Group Size

There is a local coordinator who will assign work projects that are appropriate to the size and skill level of your group.

Age Requirement

All ages able to do the work are welcome; youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Scope of Work

Restoration of trails, Fence reconstruction, Installation of tree nursery, Invasive weed removal before they have a chance to take over the burn areas, Preparation of Family Camp for summer, native tree planting.

Accommodations and Meals

You will be staying at a camp that offers rustic living – wood cabins (each cabin sleeps 4, includes cots w/mattresses) separate restroom/bath house, community room, kitchen/mess hall. All 3 meals are included.


$20.00 per person/night, payable to the local site coordinator. Your group is responsible for all costs associated with your trip. World Renew DRS does not charge for arranging group mission trips.

Skill Level Requirement

No experience necessary. The local coordinator will provide guidance on work projects.

Tools and Materials

Supplies, tools, and safety equipment are provided. Volunteers can bring work gloves if they like.

What to Bring

Must bring bedding and/or sleeping bag, towels, and personal toiletries. A general list of what to bring can be found in Preparing to Serve.
