Severe drought or famine is devastating communities around the world. In Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Somalia and Yemen millions of people are at risk of starvation. Communities are on the edge of catastrophe and families are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.

World Renew is responding.

World Renew is working with local and international partners to provide life-saving food assistance to over 41,817 people across 5 countries.

In northern Nigeria, drought as well as the displacement caused by Boko Haram has left millions in need of urgent support.  Famine is looming and Word Renew, in partnership with ZOA, is providing urgently needed food assistance to some of the most vulnerable families in the worst affected area.

In South Sudan, where famine has been declared in Unity State, World Renew is supporting the efforts of World Relief to provide nutrition services and treat thousands of young children suffering from acute malnutrition.

World Renew is also responding in communities before the situation becomes severe enough for famine to be declared. In Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda World Renew is working with communities early to prevent more serious harm to families, especially the elderly and the young, from food insecurity.

Through your prayers and financial support you can be part of this critical response. Please give generously today.
