Marrion Omanyo

Marrion is originally from Kenya where her parents (Davis and Beth Omanyo) and three sisters (Joan and family, Julian and Hellen) live.

She has been serving with World Renew since 2014 in Laos as the Program Advisor for the Xiengkhouang Project, focusing on Health. Marrion holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Moi University in Kenya.

Previously she served with Rescue Steps-Omwabini, Kenya Ministry of Health and Bayer East Africa. She is a follower of Christ and praying He will use her to spread His love through World Renew in Xiengkhouang, Laos.

Fighting Malnutrition Through Agriculture

LAOS - In early 2009, World Renew played an integral part in developing a nutrition training program to address rates of malnutrition as high as 50% in children throughout Laos. In partnership with other NGOs, we created an ambitious curriculum we called LANN — Linking Agriculture and Natural Resources with Nutrition.
