featuring Audrey Assad, award-winning musician
Join Audrey Assad, for an evening of praise, worship and reflection on choosing welcome in response to the global refugee crisis
On October 19th and 20th 2018, the Refugee Program invites churches in Southern Ontario to join award-winning musician and daughter of a Syrian refugee, Audrey Assad, for an evening of praise, worship, and reflection on choosing welcome in response to the global refugee crisis.
A dynamic group of newcomer youth from Crossing Borders will share their inspiring and challenging stories and you will learn practical ways to personally respond to the refugee crisis.
Over the last year, the number of refugees resettled worldwide dropped dramatically, from 126,000 in 2017 to a commitment of 65,000 in 2018. There are currently 25.4 million refugees worldwide and the number of people in urgent need of a place to call home grows every day.
Tickets are $25.
