Church Relations Associate

World Renew has a full-time opening for a Church Relations Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that will set up relevant programs, provide support to and initiate ideas in the Constituency Relations (CORE) team in the U.S. including the Church Relations sub-team

PURPOSE 

Set up relevant programs, provide support to, and initiate ideas in the Constituency Relations (CORE) team in the U.S., including the Church Relations sub-team, in consultation with other staff including the church relations manager.

The incumbent in this position works cooperatively with other CORE team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Serve as the primary contact for general church inquiries
  2. Connect with Sunday schools, groups, and churches that support World Renew either in writing or in person. 
  3. Work with delegates to recruit and cultivate relationships with ambassadors (thereby increasing the number and level of involvement)
  4. Ensure that the database is maintained; run reports; and recommend strategies for connecting and interacting with ambassadors, delegates, churches, etc.based on that information 
  5. Serve as the liaison for the marketing communication team for US church marketing materials and email strategy
  6. Participate in developing the plans and objectives for engaging World Renew’s current and potential church constituency
  7. Assist churches in developing and/or editing materials (i.e. making them relevant for the individual church) for various campaigns 
  8. Facilitate and manage logistics for team meetings as necessary
  9. Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  1. At least a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  2. At least 2 years experience in a marketing setting
