Edward Etanu Okiror was born in Soroti, Uganda. In his role as program consultant for World Renew, Edward supports World Renew’s partners in North East Uganda, providing training, advisory services, and interventions.
Edward’s strong expertise is in the area of facilitating community organising, participatory rural appraisal and project proposal development, strategic planning, and board development. A recent graduate of the Timothy Leadership Institute, Edward now brings Timothy Leadership training into churches.
Edward holds a BA in Community Development from Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya, and has a Msc. Development Management degree from Open University in the United Kingdom.
Previous to joining World Renew in 2008, Edward worked for Pentacostal Assemblies of God as a Development Coordinator, ZOA Refugee Care, CARE International, and the Uganda Prime Minister’s Office as a project officer.
Edward lives in Soroti with his three sons David Okwate (18), Benjamin Emiau (16), and Jesse (13).
