Uzima is a Swahili word that means “full of life.”
By choosing an item from World Renew's Gift Catalog, you can offer Uzima — abundant life — to someone who is hungry, poor, and oppressed. You create an opportunity for God to turn everyday events into miracles like enough food, fruitful work, good health, and community service.
A goat or chicken, a wheelchair or sewing machine, a latrine or handwashing station may be the powerful opportunity someone needs to begin to experience the fullness of life that God intends!
Uzima includes compassionately serving those in need, empowering, equipping, and encouraging others to make a commitment to God’s work of wholeness and wellness in their own lives.

- Set up a Giving Tree using our custom ornaments
- Hold an offering for items in the Gift Catalog on Christmas Day
- Pick one or more items from the Gift Catalog for your church to support. Set a fundraising goal and work towards it over Advent. Check out a few examples of what other groups have done here.
