Funds Are Needed To Help South Asian Flood Survivors

It’s raining. It’s pouring.This time of year marks the rainy season in many parts of the world, and while farmers in Latin America are grateful for rains that have finally broken a long season of drought, families in Asia are worried about how they will survive horrendous flooding. Rivers in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan are all over-flowing following an especially heavy monsoon season. World Renew is seeking financial support so that it can respond.

2014 Flooding in Pakistan Reminds People of 2010's Devastation

PAKISTAN - On September 2, 2014 a torrential downpour fell on Pakistan’s twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The flooding that ensued filled people with worry as they were reminded of the horror that occurred back in 2010 - when one fifth of Pakistan’s land mass was flooded, 20 million people were affected and families struggled for years to recover.
