This is in response to March 2016 storms and flooding, the worst disaster this area has seen since Hurricane Katrina in 2012.

Scope of Work
Work will include after flood repair work, sheetrock, painting, flooring, trim, etc.

There is a local construction coordinator who will assign work projects that are appropriate to the size and skill level of your group.

Age Requirement
14 and up, youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Skill Level Requirement
It is helpful to have a couple of people with construction experience in your group, but this is not required. The local construction coordinator will provide guidance on work projects.

Accommodations and Meals
Housing will be at a church. There are cots available and your group should bring your own sleeping bags or bedding. There are rooms as well as space in the gym for sleeping arrangements. Showers are on site as well as washers and dryers.  There is a kitchen available for your group to prepare your own meals.

$10/person/day payable to your local site coordinator. Your group is responsible for all costs associated with your trip. World Renew DRS does not charge for arranging group mission trips. 

Tools and Materials
Materials and basic tools are provided and coordinated by the local construction coordinator. Skilled tradesmen are encouraged to bring their own tools if possible.  This should be discussed with the local site coordinator during the planning process.

What to Bring
Must bring bedding and/or sleeping bag, towels, and personal toiletries. A general list of what to bring can be found in Preparing to Serve.
