This is in response to 2015 wildfires.
The Valley Fire of Sept 2015, was one of the worst in California's history, damaging or destroying homes across a 76,000-acre area.

Scope of Work
Most projects are new home construction within 5-30 minutes of the volunteer housing. Because homes are being built from foundation to finish there will be a variety of work available. There is a local construction coordinator who will assign work projects that are appropriate to the size and skill level of your group.
Length of Trip
Groups typically arrive at this site on Sunday and work Monday through Friday.
$150/person to cover housing and meals. This is payable to the local coordinator. Your group is responsible for all costs associated with your trip. World Renew DRS does not charge for arranging group mission trips.
Housing is in a volunteer dorm with a capacity of up to 50 people.
Food and supplies for meals are provided but not prepared. You will need a person(s) on your team to be the cook/prepare the meals.
Tools and Materials
Tools and building supplies are provided and coordinated by the local coordinator.
Skill Level Requirement
No particular skills required, but highly preferable for each group to have at least one skilled person who can take the lead on group projects.
14 years old and over. Anyone under 18 years of age must have adult supervision.
What to Bring
Must bring bedding and/or sleeping bag, towels, and personal toiletries. A general list of what to bring can be found in Preparing to Serve.
