United States

World Renew was founded in the United States in 1962, compelled to join communities around the world to renew hope, reconcile lives, and restore creation.

What We Do

World Renew’s ministry in the United States focuses on engaging Christians, churches, businesses, and schools in learning about and responding to disaster, hunger, poverty and injustice. This ministry takes many forms:

North American
Disaster Response

When disasters strike, World Renew responds through its Disaster Response Services (DRS). Volunteers give of their time and talents to help clear debris, assess unmet needs, make repairs, and rebuild homes after disasters strike. DRS volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, couples, and groups.

Our Climate Witness Project (CWP) represents a vast network of churches, businesses, and individuals committed to stewarding our resources well, learning how we have done damage to our climate, and taking action both in our personal lives and through civic action. Our goal is to pursue zero emissions by 2030.

World Renew’s Church with Community Team partners with churches and ministries across the US to demonstrate God’s love in their own communities. This includes inspiring, equipping, and encouraging deacons, churches, and their partners to join in God’s transforming work.

Other Opportunities

World Renew provides a variety of ways for Americans to learn about and get involved in its ministry. This includes volunteer opportunities, advocacy, fundraising suggestions and more.

Partners in the U.S.

World Renew proudly partners with Growing Hope Globally to fund growing projects around the world, helping local farmers, families, and communities achieve food security and economic opportunity through church engagement, community partnerships, and projects funded directly by American farmers and ranchers donating a portion of their profits to equip struggling farmers around the world.
