Ecclesiastes 3: 1-3 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die.”
January 11, 2012 – Emmanuel Sagara was born into our family at a healthy weight of 8 lbs, 7 ozs. His name, which means “God is with us,” is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and presence with us through the good times and the bad.
April 22, 2012 – After a three-month battle with liver cancer, it was time for Dr. John Orkar to pass on and go to be with his Savior in heaven. John was Patsy’s father and a faithful servant of the Lord even to the very end of his life. In his final months and days on this earth he testified that as his body was growing weaker, his inner spirit was growing stronger in faith. A time to plant and a time to uproot
May, 2012 – This month is the harvest time here in Zambia. Rains were good this year and so farmers are quite happy with the outcome. As we visit our partners we hear stories of growth, increased yields, and improved health. God is at work and is faithful to CRWRC and our partners in each time and each season.
A time to tear down and a time to build
June, 2012 – We held a very important partner evaluation this month. We have been working with the Reformed Church in Zambia (RCZ) for more than 20 years. It was time to take a look at what needed to be built up in the partnership and what needed to be torn down. As a result of this evaluation, both CRWRC and RCZ are excited to look at new ways to work together to have a wholistic impact on the communities that we serve.
Whatever time or season you are in, may you feel the Lord’s presence.
