These are the kinds of gems we hear about, and the things the funds are designated to support:
World Renew World Hunger Campaign (Peter Fish)
Klaas Bosma walks and bikes around Richmond, BC, for exercise, and collects recycling while he does it. We received a check with a note penned by his wife Gerda:
“Here we go again. Another successful year picking up recycling. This year – $3,700. My husband has been very busy, and there are others that will give when they know what it is for. So family, friends, neighbours, and even strangers have helped. God bless World Renew.
Thank you Klaas & Gerda!
Flocks through the Gift Catalog
Thank you Southwest Chicago Christian School!
Nutrition Kits and Literacy Courses through the Gift Catalog
Fresehman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors from Unity Christian Highschool in Hudsonville, Michigan got competitive, earning points with their donations!
Thank you Unity!
And this… this is happening right now!
Water Pumps and Wells through the Gift Catalog
An Edmonton Public School Board Grade Two class invites you to their Water Challenge!
“Our school goal is to raise enough funds to build four wells and water pumps in Cambodia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Guatemala. If this goal is reached, our Principal will color her hair blue for the Celebration of Learning.
This class made piggy banks to collect change, and we at World Renew set up an online fundraising page for them too.
Thank you Grade Two’s!
(We know the Principal is going to have to dye her hair blue! We hope we get a photo!)
If you have been fundraising for World Renew in fun creative ways, we’d love to hear about it! Send us an email with the details.
