World Renew has been working in West Africa since 1985, implementing programs in areas like trauma healing, literacy, disaster response, and food security.
In West Africa, chronic drought, poor economic infrastructure, and weak government services in education and health are prevalent. Working in West Africa has several challenges, especially regarding security. But thanks to our courageous and dedicated local partners, communities continue to benefit from World Renew programs. We work to improve livelihoods in West Africa through agriculture training, savings groups, adult literacy programs, community health initiatives, and more.
“Thanks to the advice from the [Group] Advisor, I completed ID cards, family books, birth certificates, and nationality documents for my wife and myself. Now we are at peace when we travel, and our children are no longer threatened to be kicked out of school.”
